Flash 7 Plugin Security Bug
Apparently Flash 7 has a big security bug where users can have code executed through the player on their machine. No surprize upgrading to Flash 8 fixes the problem. (side note: some people think this is a push for Macromedia to increase Flash 8 distribution… I highly doubt this) You can read more from the mother ship.

ya, it’s kinda funny…. but i don’t think so… any security problems will only hurt them… think about it… IT guys will have an excuse to rip Flash from their computers because of “security” problems… this is only going to hurt Flash not help it…

Am I the only one who thinks this is a ploy by Macromedia to get people to download the latest player?
