Microsoft IE ActiveX Update – Some Flash will be broken!

Remember a while back the issue about Flash and the active-x embed lawsuit with Microsoft and Eolas. Flash movies are going to break very soon (as soon as users get an update from MS). Looks like the biggest problem is going to be the fact that users will need to "click" the movie to get the Flash to start working. Movies will play fine, but users will not be able to interact with the Flash until the "activate the control" by clicking on it.

For instance roll-overs on flash buttons won’t work until users actually click the menu system. The biggest problem will be for Flash movies that require "mouse overs" and "mouse drags" before users click on the movie. You can read more about these problems, and solutions here.
